Utah Birth Doula
Pregnancy, labor, and postpartum can be vulnerable times for birthers, and your Utah birth doula firmly believes you should feel supported and empowered throughout this perinatal period, no matter your circumstance or how you’d like to give birth.
In addition to helping low-risk birthers, we specialize in helping people who are preparing for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean), or VBAMC (Vaginal Birth After Multiple Cesareans), high-risk pregnancies, as well as people who have diabetes during pregnancy (Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, or Gestational diabetes). Your Utah birth doula is here to help educate you about your birth options and help you feel comfortable and excited to give birth, even if you are classified as high-risk.
“Giving birth should be your greatest achievement, not your greatest fear.”-Jane Weideman
We love guiding birth partners to be as involved in the birth experience as much as they are comfortable. We help them to feel like they can help you through labor, and be just as involved as you are, by guiding them in ways to help make you comfortable during pregnancy and labor, and even postpartum. Your birth partner has an intimate knowledge of you and we have an intimate knowledge of birth; together, we make the ultimate team. We will help them to feel included every step of the way.
During our prenatal visits, we discuss ALL of your options during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals for your upcoming birth. We are very familiar with natural remedies for many pregnancy ailments. If you prefer natural remedies over medicinal, we can suggest some options so that you can bring it up with your doctor or midwife.
